With a strong background in the education sector, Annette is a dedicated and passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences, strategies, guidance that nurture children's development, resilience, agency, and well-being. Her diverse experience spans primary education, early childhood teaching, centre directorship, roles in Out of School Hours (OSH) and holiday care with the Department of Education. Annette has worked extensively with children, youth, and adults who have experienced trauma, have additional needs, neurodiverse, revising her approach to support all and belief in a holistic approach. Annette has worked within a wide range of demographics, multiculturalism across Victoria.
Holding a Master of Teaching in Early Years – Early Childhood and Primary Education from the University of Melbourne, along with degrees and certifications in leadership, business management, training and assessment, and autism behavioural intervention, Annette is deeply committed to lifelong learning and extension. She is a fully VIT-registered teacher with up-to-date training in all relevant areas.
As a mother of two young daughters, Annette brings deep compassion and understanding to her work, striving to support families and share her expertise. Her empathetic and nurturing nature fuels her drive to inspire, guide, and uplift those she encounters, whether students, educators, or families.
Annette has held numerous leadership roles, where she has designed and implemented engaging curricula, supported diverse learning needs, and fostered inclusive environments for children and educators of all cultures, beliefs, and abilities. She specialises in differentiated pedagogies and student-cantered learning strategies that enhance both personal and academic success. Her extensive experience across schools, kindergartens, daycare centres, and OSH programs has given her a well-rounded understanding of various educational settings, allied health specialists, frameworks, policies, children of different age/ capabilities and community needs.
