I am an Accredited Social Worker and a graduate of RMIT University with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours 2B). I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families to feel understood, empowered, and confident in who they are.
My experience includes several years in before and after-school care and social work placements in school settings, where I developed a strong passion for advocating for young people and creating safe, inclusive spaces.
As someone with ADHD and who proudly identifies as queer, I value creating affirming environments where children and young people feel accepted, respected, and able to be their authentic selves. I enjoy working collaboratively with each young person to build on their strengths, explore their interests, and work towards meaningful goals.
My practice is neuro-affirming, strengths-based, person-centred, and trauma-informed. I believe every young person deserves to feel safe, understood, and valued for who they are.
I work collaboratively with children, adolescents, and families to support emotional wellbeing, self-understanding, confidence, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. Therapy is tailored to each individual and may incorporate play, creativity, sensory-informed strategies, and clients' special interests to create meaningful and engaging sessions.
